The Toolbox

We wanted to have a section on our blog that will serve as a one-stop-shop for useful ebooks, tools and services to improve your blog or websites performance and online presence.

If your goal is to make money online, you will also find this section very resourceful.  ***Keep in mind that we will never include or recommend anything in this section that we haven’t used ourselves.

If you would like to suggest an ebook, tool, or service that you use and have had great results with – contact us here and we will check it out and hit you back if we decide to include it in our Toolbox.  If we decide not to, don’t take it personal, it’s just that we might already have a similar service or tool already listed.  The Toolbox section will be an ongoing project and we will provide updates whenever a new tool is added.

Thanks!

Web Hosting and Domain Names

A Small Orange – When Veronica and I decided to start building websites to generate income, one of the first decisions we had to make was where to host our virtual real estate.  After suffering with several top web hosting providers it was a no contest victory – ASmallOrange.com was by far supreme.  Not only are their hosting plans affordable and jam packed with everything you need, their technical support is top notch.  I can’t count how many times I had a question or technical challenge in front of me, and within a few minutes of accessing their Live Chat support I was connected with a representative who answered my questions with efficiency and flare.

Namecheap – Buying, selling and maintaining domain names can seem like an intimidating task if you don’t know what you’re doing.  When we purchased our first domain name we were surprised how easy it was using GoDaddy’s interface.  They are one of the more popular domain name registrars on the Internet for two reasons – their dashboard and account management functionality is so easy to become familiar with that completing such tasks like changing the DNS or domain forwarding seems like cakewalk.  On top of the ease of use, GoDaddy also works with webmasters to provide discount codes for domain and hosting purchases.  Simply type “godaddy discount” into Google and you will find an ample supply of promo codes to save you a bunch of money.
