Love, Life And Internet Marketing
Hey guys.
I don’t have too much to say right now except that I’m exhausted, and would have preferred to do a video post but I can’t find the SD card for my digi cam – dammit Veronica! Anyways, I have successfully flipped my niche blog and it is now live and active on the Sitepoint Marketplace. I’m nervous, tired, and accomplished all in one breath. This was a great experience and I look forward to my next flip, but first things first..
I’m going out tonight to see the Bedouin Soundclash in concert – for those of you who’ve never heard of them they are a local ska band from Toronto who rock with good vibrations. Check them out.
Time to get drunk.
Cheers,
Elijah

I bid 100 million billion dollars!!
Nah, not really lol. The site turned out great, I typed in russian mafia tattoos into Google last night and you showed up in 6th place
You should easily be able to get the BIN from the site, the blog kicks ass compared to most of the other junk blogs trying to get flipped on there.

Thanks WV. I just noticed that there’s four of you tied for first place on the top commentators list – I think this means I have to get some prizes together..
Where’s the rule book when I need it?

HAHAHA!!! YEAAAA BOY! I can’t believe it sold for the BIN in just under 2 hours from the time I posted it. Not only that, it was purchased by a dude from Alberta!
Jay, you already know what I’m going to say – so just say “np” and I owe you a beer when I hit BC later on this year.

You mean you’re encouraging me to talk? Boy, you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into!
Congratulations! I’m not surprised at all that it sold at that price, but I’m very impressed at how quick it was.

Hmm, if it sold that fast with the BIN, maybe your price was too low. If I had the funds, I would have snatched that site up in a heartbeat.

@ Joe – report coming soon!
@ WV – I like taking risks, so yes I am encouraging you to talk!
@ J – Indeed.
@ Bcarter – You’re absolutely right. I could have sold if for probably $100-200 more than I did. Being my first time selling a blog I under estimated the value of my hard work

Hey Guys
Elijah, come on Skype later.
Re: The fast BIN: Selling fast doesn’t “necessarily” mean it would have sold for more. Many times, buyers just prefer to BIN rather than bid, especially on newer, low priced sites.
At under $200, it’s really more of an annoyance to bid and wait to see if you “win”, if you already KNOW you want the site. Know what I mean?
Not saying this particular site wasn’t worth more, just pointing out that it’s not 100% certain just because of the fast sale.
You had a great sales page and really made took advantage of laying out the “extras”. I liked it.
I think your site was worth 1 BILLION dollars!
Cheers!

Thanks Tara – I realize now that the site’s value was more than what I charged, but at the same time I wanted to set the buy now option at a reasonable price so it would sell faster – and I could meet my deadline of today (sunday), which I did!

Congrats, E on your first flip and I was like “Wow” how the hell did you get into tattoo but then selling it in under 2 hours was a real nice work… The thing is it just shows to everyone that it is possible – still…

Great looking site, Elijah! Congrats, you not a site flip virgin anymore. Keep it going!
I really like the color combination. It seemed to go really well with your topic.
Keep them coming and the concert must have been great!
Hope you didn’t get too drunk. You know you should drink and flip!
Peace!

@ Freddie – You definitely inspired me with your first flip, it was great as well. Really really good use of the BM theme, which I’m hoping to use in the future.
@ Jay – Oh snap.. That’s not right, that is totally going to be the title, and you’re gonna make a killing because of that title, and you’re going to have to pay Freedie royalties!
