No Such Thing As Luck

I woke up this morning, crawled out of bed and literally hit record.  I don’t know what compelled me to shoot a video post today, but I felt the need to talk to you guys and gals – as it has been a while since I’ve done a viddy post.

Anyways, I give a little sneak peak into what my days are like normally, how many tasks I do within a given day and why it’s important to keep the right mindset when trying to quit your job and work from home.

Pardon the bags under my eyes and crusty hair as I didn’t even wash my face before hitting record, lol.

I get kind of personal at times – and keep your eye out because I don’t actually wake up until about half way through the video, and you’ll see the exact moment when it happens!

I had a laugh watching this back.

Also – I reveal what SuiteJ and I are up to in the site flipping world.. you’re not going to want to miss this info!

Cheers,

Elijah

LOL@ your last line of the video.

You speak the truth my friend. Peeps need to stop chasing the “latest formula” that promises you “$1,007,037.73 per minute while you sip margaritas”. You gotta work first man. Simple as that. Plus, I hate to burst everyone’s bubble, but I personally know cats that make mid-6-figures, and to make sure they maintain that $$, they still gotta work. Do they vacation and whoop it up more than I do? Hell Ya! They play hard! But they stiill work hard too.

The Internet isn’t a lotto ticket, but it IS a level playing field with ample opportunity to make a good living. Start treating it like you would any business, and you’ll make some $$. :)

@Head – I actually had to watch the video back again to recall what the fuck I talked about! I literally hit record as soon as I got out of bed without planning a thing lol.

Yeah man, it’s a shame, but at the same time, there’s no excuse for people to be blaming it on misinformation because there are plenty of cats like you and myself who tell it how it is.

But I guess the masses tend to trust those with shitty sales pages and crappy font selection HAHAHA! Suckas!

So I take it you don’t believe in schedules? That’s not a slight but really a serious question. Most that I know who work at home, still believe it’s best to have some sort of 6:30 ’till whenever schedule. :)

@Jake – I totally need a haircut, but people seem to enjoy the “haven’t combed my hair in 3 weeks” look. I absolutely love that quote!

    @Mark – Awww Mark, you’re a kind, kind man…

@Dennis – Actually Dennis, I essentially work 2 shifts… I do 10am to 6pm and then from 11pm to 2am.. some nights I opt out of the working after Veronica has gone to bed, but realistically most nights I still try and get some extra things done before I call it day.

If I end up working past 2am, then I will start my day at 11am and work until 7pm… but I’m still on a fairly regulated schedule…

  7. Lets see if I get this correct. Working form home means..

    - go to work with eye crusties
    - fack the hair cut.. we’ll save if I go sasquatch
    - razors my ass
    - healthy cereal.. no cheetos?
    - rice milk? No redbull?

Pardna.. as mentioned, I like your raw flavor! Great advice for anyone considering a career change. it’s hard friggin work (with some perks – nooners etc) and long hours.

My relatives still think I sell drugs, since I’ve not had a “job” going on 10 yrs now. As long as they don’t come asking for a hit.

@Chris – I think you’ve got it correct! No cheetos, no redbull, no razors… that sounds about right! I’m just trying to wake people up to the reality of the start up phase.. whether the business is affiliate related, or doing consultation from home, it’s hard work man.
